FRIENDSSM Medical Staff Proactive Program

The Foundation Radiology Interactive Education for Necessity, Development and Strategy Program, or FRIENDSSM, provides a mechanism to establish and maintain strong strong peer-to-peer and medical staff leadership relationships. These relationships are formed from scheduled interchange. Proactive training and communication is the goal of the FRIENDSSM program on everything from the latest trends to quality-improving best practices.

The FRIENDSSM physician-to-physician interchange contains valuable information channeled through the local Foundation medical director. The medical director leverages multi-layered expertise from the "Verizon-like" Foundation Clinical Network. Special on-line "luncheons" and conference calls include sessions on proper protocols, sub-specialty education, service promotion and interrelated hospital strategy.

FRIENDSSM also includes publications, white papers and briefs – both on- and off-line. Specific referring physician specialty knowledge is also shared and disseminated through our unique program.

Additionally, we support hospital senior management through the FRIENDSSM program with updates, strategic insight briefings, future trends and the impact of the latest regulatory information. FRIENDSSM is included in our overall customer success planning where we jointly establish commitments and metrics for the program. Overtime, this dynamic process yields a superior relationship and value proposition for the hospital from the Foundation.
